OpenRGB is fucking DOPE. - Skullmeat - 05-06-2021 OpenRGB is a open source alternative for programs like iCUE and ROG Armoury, and it allows you to sync across all your RGB devices. You can sync, control, and customize your colors, and even interface with an SDK, for added features. ![]() ![]() ![]() Spoiler:Get it here: https://openrgb.org/ RE: OpenRGB is fucking DOPE. - Oni - 05-07-2021 I use the following for similar effects: RE: OpenRGB is fucking DOPE. - Skullmeat - 05-07-2021 (05-07-2021, 12:39 AM)Oni Wrote: I use the following for similar effects: the point of this is those dont sync together. And you dont need more than one program. Spoiler:RE: OpenRGB is fucking DOPE. - Drako - 05-07-2021 I've wanted a program like this for the longest time, but I've a lways been too lazy to actually search for one. I use Razer, Asus, and Corsair products, so I need all of their bloatware installed so I can sync up a color scheme between them. OpenRGB will definitely come in handy for me. RE: OpenRGB is fucking DOPE. - Equinox - 05-07-2021 What this really needs is an API of sorts or a library so users can do this programmatically. The GUI is convenient, but being able to do shit programmatically would be fire for developers I think. I guess the plug-in system sort of supplements this, but I think that the plug-in system just has a lot more overhead than necessary. The GUI is convenient, but being able to do shit programmatically would be fire for developers I think. More or less, but SDKs still have unreasonable overhead. Go ahead and scratch all that anyways though, because through some browsing I found the header file that provided the API calls. Hasn’t been updated in like seven months though. https://gitlab.com/CalcProgrammer1/OpenRGB/-/wikis/The-RGBController-API RE: OpenRGB is fucking DOPE. - fire - 05-09-2021 sounds sick, thanks ill defo try this out RE: OpenRGB is fucking DOPE. - Losi - 05-10-2021 A bit off topic but this video seemed relevant: Tech Tangents wrote a script to use the corsair commander pro to handle his fans on Linux: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nAwwhFipVWQ Worth a watch RE: OpenRGB is fucking DOPE. - _KEY_ - 05-20-2021 Thank you, let's see how it works |
