The elder Scrolls V: Skyrim - d4ggm4sk - 03-23-2021

When I play skyrim; I always chose the thieves guild. I love sneaking around and pickpocketing people. It gives me a kick. Lockpicking peoples houses, backstabbing enemies. The dark brotherhood is my second fav. Like I cant even describe how original and fun that game is. Theres like so much to just kill time on in that game, its senseless.

I've always loved the Dark Brotherhood, even more so on Oblivion and ESO. If you enjoyed Skyrim I definitely recommend Morrowind and Oblivion, though the graphics are dated now.

Yeah. I really love those games. I have only played skyrim, but i know that oblivion sort of has the most cult status, and more RPG elements that were scaled down, game by game. But its just something with assassinating people that gives me a kick, its like a manhunt, haha.

should you be able to play all the guild storylines in one playthrough??

Yeah, if you want to, I guess.
The idea of the game is that you should be able to play all the content the game has to offer
without having to do it in different runs.

I dont know. some of the story lines are conflicting. like can you fight for empire after killing emperor?
also thats why we have mods i guess

Yeah, I think its where two parts of the campaign or storyline would be in direct conflict to eachother lorewise,
but as a general rule, the game is meant for you to be able to explore every part of it,
all the quests etc. Except for things like: being a vampire and joining the dawnguard, doing both the empire and stormcloak campaign,
and also, you cant be both a lycan and a vampire, thats one point where you have to chose.

yeah making a new character for every guild is also painful. i mean if the story was written better then there wouldn't have been lorewise conflicts.
did oblivion have any such conflicts??

You dont have to make a new character for every guild, its just those big decisions that are that way. Like Imperial x stormcloak campaign.

Did anybody run into the issue in Oblivion when you were almost done with the game and you had to start closing Oblivion gates, but no matter what, Oblivion gates just kept coming and coming? I mean I must have closed 150+ gates and they never stopped popping up?
