Businesses Offering Perks to Those Vaccinated - Dismas - 03-22-2021 Looks like businesses are offering employees paid hours to get vaccinated. Krispy Kreme is offering free donuts to customers that already are. Quote:Krispy Kreme will give away a free glazed donut to anyone who comes in with a COVID-19 vaccination card through the end of 2021, the company announced Monday. However, upon reading what the perks were: doughnuts/paid hours to get the vaccine.. I think it's a smashing idea, actually xD RE: Businesses Offering Perks to Those Vaccinated - Kaimano - 03-22-2021 Luckily my state opened up vaccinations to anyone with at least one underlying condition so I got my first shot last week. I'll have to hit the boss up and see what he can do for me ![]() RE: Businesses Offering Perks to Those Vaccinated - Dismas - 03-23-2021 (03-22-2021, 09:06 PM)Boudica Wrote: When I read the title, I thought that was a bit much, to get a perk from your company for a vaccine. I think it's a smashing idea, actually xD One would assume they stand to make more money if employees are vaccinated. I'd imagine Krispy Kreme can easily offset the cost of donuts. RE: Businesses Offering Perks to Those Vaccinated - zorrophreak - 03-23-2021 I just recently was hanging out with coworkers and we decided to go get donuts from KrispyKreme at like 11 at night. They weren't open but that's how it goes sometimes. Its a very simple incentive that margins out really well especially with how much fundraising KrispyKreme does and how little profit they make from that so I imagine its well worth it for them. Getting a workforce back to full production makes great business sense RE: Businesses Offering Perks to Those Vaccinated - TaigassNellz - 03-26-2021 I'm planning to get vaccinated soon RE: Businesses Offering Perks to Those Vaccinated - Dismas - 03-28-2021 Certain businesses (i.e. cruises/travel) are requiring the cards for COVID-19 vaccinations. Worth holding on to the card, if they give you one. Although our cards were different, they're just as flimsy. I wonder if people are forging these cards already? It really wouldn't surprise me. I'd imagine forgery wouldn't jeopardize anyone (except the person doing it), given most of these businesses are only allowing card-carriers - who are pretty much immune. |
