Pornhub Purged Nearly 10 Million Videos Posted By Unverified Users - Drako - 12-15-2020
Yesterday it came to my knowledge that Pornhub purged millions of videos that were posted by unverified users on the site. And I learned this through my "daily" browsing activities of course. I later did some research and discovered that Pornhub decided to remove nearly 10 million videos from the site due to the traction that #Trafficinghub was gaining, and the major move that Visa and Mastercard made by removing their services from Pornhub.
I knew sooner or later that Pornhub was going to have to make some serious changes, and fast because of the #Traffickinghub backlash. If you don't know what the Traffickinghub movement is, it was a movement meant aiming to shutdown Pornhub because of their poor handling of human trafficking, rape pornography, and underage pornography that was hosted on the site. And in my opinion this is a deserving punishment. Pornhub, and just porn in general isn't a neccesity, it's a leasure activity. And if you want to engage in such an activity there are thousands of other sites to find content on.
It looks like this marks the beginning of a change in the porn industry!

I wouldn't be surprised if alternative sites begin to receive more of their traffic. Similar happened with DMCA complaints on Twitch recently.

If you're asking if rape porn is illegal in the US, then yes it is illegal. It's filming a sexual crime and is of course illegal here.

I do as well, as I know of many ewhoring methods that require you to "verify" for that little check next to your profile. Will be interesting.

Yes in the U.S., and most countries, rape, or other immoral sexual acts are considered crimes, however, there are many countries that allow individual sexual acts. Pornhub is global, even if it doesn't want to be people have VPNs, so if it's legal in country "A" , then country "B - Z" can access it.
TO CLARIFY I DO NOT CONDONE THESE ACTS. I'm just explaining how it happens.

Yes it's usually just "hidden". The amounts of fuckers I've doxxed posting rape, or other similar, porn videos is insane.
It's even worse on sites like XVideos who have minimal security for videos posted to "encourage amateur porn"
