Contest for Referrals/Posting - Dismas - 11-19-2012
Information
So, today I decided - why not do a contest? We've been up for several months now and I haven't done any contests yet. I've decided that we should run two contests, one for referrals and one for posting. These contests will run for 4 weeks and obviously I will have to run both of these contests like a dictator. I will be banning people who attempt to make fake accounts or spam in order to increase their post count. This contest is more of a trial to see how many people participate. If it's successful, I may run more of them in the future.
Details
In this thread you must post the amount of referrals/posts you have made during these two weeks. You must post before December 17th, although your post may be edited to reflect your post count (if any were made). On December 18th, I will select the winners and the results will be posted. There will be a 24 hour delay of payment, during which time the winners' referrals/posts will be checked. This is to make sure everybody plays fairly. Additionally, if there is an insignificant amount of participation I reserve the right to close the contest.

1st Place: $25.00 and 1,000 AP
2nd Place: $2.50 and 500 AP
3rd Place: 250 AP

0 PostsJust to clarify, you only count the posts you have made during the contest - not all of your posts. Your referrals must also make 5 posts each, as we don't want a bunch of dormant accounts on the forum.

Well, this isn't the place to ask that, but I'll address your question.
First, we don't allow discussion of credit cards (assuming that's what you meant by "cc mailers"). As for shells, VPS, RDP, and stuff like that - we need people to sell them. The goal of the contest is to get more people and preferably people who will contribute to the forum. No doubt there's a lack of sales currently, as we aren't much of a marketplace. I think you'll see more of those things in the future.

I have two questions, Supreme Administrator:
1) Since what date and forward do we count posts/referrals?
2) Do we have to edit our post on this thread every time we make a new post or refer a new member?
