Outdated Section Request - fsociety - 10-13-2020 i see most of the tools/checker not working/ outdated so i would like to request for outdated section which will help in saving our time instead of keep replying let me test bla bla... if we have outdated section it will be easy to move outdated thread. specially in cracking tool... RE: Outdated Section Request - mothered - 10-13-2020 Simply report It and staff will make the decision whether to close the thread. We can also add a comment, stating that the tool Is not working. On the grounds that It's warranted, threads can also be deleted. I've been doing this for a number of years, and It works well. Creating a section means we will have to manually check every single thread/link. Also, there will be outdated threads and resources in almost all sections of the forum - Do we add an outdated section that applies to each and every pre-existing section? This seems like double the effort for not a lot of gain. RE: Outdated Section Request - Satan - 10-13-2020 Additionally there is some use for certain outdated threads as well, but it may not be obviously clear to one individual or another what may be useful to someone else. In the past I've used info from outdated tools in developing my own as well, and having them much further from access would make that process much more difficult for others who have or will have similar situations. On Arabic forums we used to have a section for those threads contained malware so Reverse engineers (beginners ) learn from diagnosing them. RE: Outdated Section Request - Oni - 10-14-2020 I did this for Announcements/Suggestions, but it'd be impossible to add for every section. As @Satan said, some of the threads/posts might still have relevance. However tools that're "not working", are futile and serve very little to no purpose to the majority of the community.
