Trump has now tested positive for COVID-19. I joked to @Jiggly about the possibility of this happening, when Boris got it.

I imagine he'll have the best medical care the world has to offer, but it is definitely a concern for the U.S.

Wow. Regardless of how anyone feels about the man, I wouldn't wish that on anyone. Hopefully he doesn't suffer many symptoms, and manages to avoid a trip to the ICU. I'm sure he will receive the best care.

My friend messaged me about this a few hours ago and she was actually delighted, but at the same time, wished Trump a full and speedy recovery.

In my view, he became complacent over the severity of the virus and the Impact It has on those affected.

yes i was going to post this admin done this fiirst haha , sometime i find trump a very ..illiterate person , he didnt wear mask , and i never seen as well mealine trump to positive...but there nothing so worried that they got positive and will get died nothing like this.... in india more than lakh case and 60-70% recovered from covid...

Despite the large numbers we read about. There is a small proportion of people who are actually dying as a result of the disease. As far as the report I've read, neither of them are currently showing any symptoms. They may be asymptomatic and have no issues. I suppose only time will tell.

Meanwhile, House Speaker Nancy Pelosi, the most powerful Democrat in Washington, said serious questions concerning Mr Trump's health were still unanswered.

She said she planned to introduce legislation on Friday to establish a commission to assess the president's fitness for office and "help ensure effective and uninterrupted leadership".

A statement announcing the move said the commission would be set up under the 25th Amendment, which outlines how a sitting president can be stripped of power if they are deemed unable to conduct the duties of the office.

No matter how much you hate someone, it's difficult to see them put in such a dangerous situation. So far his recovery looks like it's going well and hopefully it continues in that direction. I'm curious as to what his reaction will be after recovering from COVID-19 however. Guess we're in for a while ride.
