Anyone ever use DrFone or similar data recovery programs? - Hustleblvrd - 09-23-2020 Accidentally reset a phone thinking shit was backed up and it wasn’t ... so now I’m treading into data recovery and I have no clue where to begin. ANY tips or suggestions would be very helpful. RE: Anyone ever use DrFone or similar data recovery programs? - mothered - 09-23-2020 What platform Is your device, IOS or Android? If It's the latter, DiskDigger does a very good job Indeed. Do note that the more activity performed, the less likelihood of a successful recovery. In short, don't use your phone. Awesome thank you very much. Will I need to make a copy of the phone or call can I do it through USB? Well I guess I’ll figure that out as I go RE: Anyone ever use DrFone or similar data recovery programs? - Jiggly - 09-23-2020 I can't say I've ever tried to recover data before, so I can't offer advice. However, I wish you good luck doing so. Let us know how it goes/if you're successful! RE: Anyone ever use DrFone or similar data recovery programs? - candorlikely - 11-10-2020 Ive used MOBILedit Forensic Express and its extremely powerful I found. Ive done an android and a couple Iphones and as long as you can get an updatred and activated version you get everything. all the deleted shit, photos texts vids, blabla you get the picture. It takes a while on a slow computer but youre presented with a neat organized report made for forensic investigators. I didnt have to but it says it can crack or bypass passwords. You may be In luck the first and/or second time, but not a consistent basis. RE: Anyone ever use DrFone or similar data recovery programs? - Hustleblvrd - 11-19-2020 Trying to find a cracked diskdigger pro apk. Worked pretty good, sucked as I wasn't able to recover data from the phone I was using because it doesn't have a root method. I was thinking of maybe trying to do a backup of the phone itself and use the PC version.... not sure if thats possible but once I have more time i'll try for the sake.
RE: Anyone ever use DrFone or similar data recovery programs? - Sawsds - 01-01-2021 Disk digger is good, and yeah I’ve used Dr. Fone. All of them are pretty similar where you have to pay for a complete recovery, but then it depends upon how you lost your files, and if you’ve overwritten the cache. RE: Anyone ever use DrFone or similar data recovery programs? - Harumba - 01-06-2021 If you mean the data on the SD card, then they can be restored using the Uneraser program. But for this you need to connect the memory card to your PC. |
