Why do you stay up at night? - ManakaJunpei - 07-15-2020

I always seem to lack the ability to sleep at night, wondering what keeps you guys up
My head always seems busier, I just end up listening to music browsing the web till 5-6 am when I finally decide to hop in bed and sleep a couple hours
Very curious for your reasons!~

I've always preferred jobs/classes at night, ever since I was a young. I work with a lot of people that are UK/AU timezones currently, so it's beneficial.

Science says a certain amount of sunlight/vitamins are good for you, so I'd highly advise you to get some sun occasionally.

My computing tasks are very Intense, hence my mind Is always active and keeps me up until around 4 am.

It's been this way for 30+ years.

I only stay up if 1) I'm keeping myself busy with being online too much/I get into a really good TV show that I just can't stop watching, or 2) I'm too uncomfortable to sleep (screw summer).

Try using Flux - It tints your screen (very unnoticeable) in line with daylight/nighttime to help you keep sleep during night, even if you're spending too much time on your phone/laptop late at night.

That's a good idea, I'll install it later today Smile

I feel like my mind is just processing a lot of the day and things I've done experiences emotions etc, most people do this while sleeping in dreams but I seem to just self reflect wide awake and then when satisfied my body shuts off

Like, it feels weird, I sleep and then it feels like a minute has passed and then it's morning it's weird.

Ahhh I remember feeling this when I was still pretty young 6-10 years old
But kind of forgot about it
