yes indeed, however, the older the app, the more likely the procedure will be different, this is because they didn't really find a "good" licensing system they can use in all of their apps

the oldest apps don't even use the .NET Framwork, but instead uses MS Visual Basic 5.0-6.0, which i can't do anything with

I really appreciate you sharing your experience and feedback.

I've absorbed a lot of Information with your RE'ing. As such, when I get back Into the scene, I've decided I'll use the same/similar tools as yourself, and not bother with my outdated ones.
