today's & new posts links unnecessary? - tranquil - 04-06-2020
So, correct me if I'm totally wrong, but I'm feeling having both the "Today's posts" and the "New posts" links in the drop down menu is a tiny bit unnecessary.
Since both show the newest posts in threads at the very top of the listing, long story short. If removing any, I'd remove the "New posts" link, and just keep the link for "Today's posts."
I'm not sure at all if something like this has already been posted in this section, apologies if it has! Just a thot.

They're different in their usage. New Posts will show things that are unread, whereas Today's Posts will show everything (including already read posts). I use both, personally.

The buttons are ambiguous in wording, so it is fair.

The first thing I do when logging In, Is view Today's Posts.
As staff, It's of the utmost Importance to view (the latest) posts/threads to make sure their content Is complaint with forum rules.
