Well that's pretty damn stupid if you ask me. Why would a person hire you to get back their own email, and then not pay you? If you have someones email and password, that means you already have some pretty good dirt on them.

I know It's not difficult, I've done It a number of times many years ago.
Irrespective of payment, you've fulfilled the task given to you and proven your worth, and that's all that matters.
