Azur Lane Anime - Jiggly - 12-12-2019

This news has been out for a while, but I realised we hadn't mentioned it on SL - Azur Lane, the mobile game, now has an anime due to begin airing in January 2020.

For those of you who don't know about the mobile game, here's a description from the games publishers:
Code:
Azur Lane features an interactive combat system that combines the best of strategy and 2D shooter games. Players must command a flotilla, divided into two parts: the Vanguard Fleet and the Main Fleet. While the Vanguard is responsible for striking and clearing operations, the Main Fleet must focus on fire support and dealing damage to enemy ships. Strategy is key, and players must build their fleets carefully to succeed on the high seas. Players can strengthen their fleets from the base via the Academy and Dorms, where they can earn experience points, buy items from the shop, or improve their skills in the Classroom.
In short, it's a game where you battle with anthropomorphised battle ships from the 20th century.

Now there's an anime due to be released. However, there have been some announcements of delays for later episodes, and I'm not yet sure where it will be available to watch if you're outside of Japan at this stage. Still, check out the trailer below!

Played the game a fair amount, looking forward to watching it. It's neat that mobile games are getting adaptations. Fate/Grand Order has also been getting some.

I'm definitely looking forward to these. I hope they turn out good! Could encourage future anime productions from successful mobile games.

You can already watch S1E1, all the way through S1E10. I haven't watched it yet because I don't have time for anime right now. It looks good though.

Nice!
I think later episodes like 13 have been delayed to March, though.
