I believe this only occurs if you're using the "Copy Email Address" feature, due to a space in the mailto link. I've updated it so that there's no space.

When I click it, it automatically brings me to Gmail and it looks like the space is still there.
The link is currently "mailto:unverified@hotmail.com", so there should be no space. You may need to clear your cache, if it still shows a space. It is funny people noticed this, as it has likely been the case for years.

An Inspect Element, displays a Microsoft (Hotmail) email address without spacing.

Yeah the actual email is supposed to be unverified@hotmail.com. I've always thought it was a very interesting email name.
