Escape From Tarkov - Refusal - 12-01-2019

I have a couple friends who have been playing it non-stop for a while now, it looks like a fair bit of fun. I was tempted to get it, but I don't know if I'd enjoy the hyper realistic game play. I've also gotten bitten in the ass by so many dead Early Access/Beta games that for such a big price tag I don't know if I want to invest.

All I can say is i have been searching for a good game, and Escape From Tarkov was a awesome find. I play it with a friend and its hella fun.

Been following the game's development loosely for a while now. The hardcore/survival elements definitely appeal to me. Only reason I haven't bought it yet is because it's still early access.

It’s been in early access for over a year now. But it definitely doesn’t feel and play like a early access game. There are some things I feel they should add. But there is nothing gamebreaking that I have encountered. I got the Edge Of Darkness edition to.

I haven't paid much attention to the game since before early access when it was still in development. Never realized it released. I might try it out sometime if I get bored enough to.

I get that but at the same time look at how long Unturned was in early access and how great it was.

difference is the player base for escaped from Tarkov is huge, and growing larger and larger each day.
It also has really good viewership on twitch.

I have seen couple gameplay videos, i think its really nice game, gun sounds & animations is impressive i like how you can check whether gun is loaded or not there is a lot more little details, i love survival games...

Something that has been on my list to try for a while. I feel like it one of those games that is way more fun if you play with friends. Sadly none of mine seem interested and with its price it's hard to justify "just to try it out". Maybe I can convince one of my friends otherwise and/or force them to play it with me

Wow have the times changed since I made my last post. I posted that I was tempted to get it back in December, and here we are 8 months later and I'm at 1300 hours played. Had to upgrade my copy from the 60$ edition to the 150$ one a month after buying because it was that good. This game is beyond addicting.
If anyone buys this game but can't find anyone to play with shoot me a message. I just hit level 40 for this wipe so I'm happy to help others through some of their tasks. The 12.7 update is coming in a week or so, so not a bad time to jump in. The community has ballooned in size in recent months as well (4x player count increase is the number I've heard cited a couple times between January and July).
