How it does it, however, is far more interesting. From my understanding, a user pays the subscription fee for access and gives the app access to their on Instagram account data. In general, ghosty acts like a disease, spreading by the users’ actions and instead of killing victims affected, merely collects their data and shares it to people who also pay to use ghosty to view hidden profile data without actually following.
