Xbox One S Problem - bapexsupreme - 11-09-2019 Hello, 2 days ago my xbox one s has been acting up. Came home from work to play and when i turned it on the home screen loaded up but most of the apps and programs were not loading up and it was lagging so bad. I did the hard reset by holding the power button for 10 seconds and when I did that it boots up but it just black screen or no hdmi signal. Anyone know the fix for this? I've tried methods I found to try and fix this black screen but none of them has worked. RE: Xbox One S Problem - mothered - 11-10-2019 Try changing the HDMI cable, and/or connect It to another monitor. RE: Xbox One S Problem - Botany - 11-12-2019 You might want to open it up and check if it needs cleaning first. You may have overheated, Next I would take out the Hard drive and try booting it without a HD attached. Next I would put the Hard drive back in and do a complete format/wipe the drive. Either your OS got corrupted or your facing Hardware issues which can be harder to identify. Practically I came home from work and notice my Xbox was on and when I turned my TV on it was at the home screen and everything was laggy so i restarted my xbox and when I did it came up black screen or stuck at the hdmi no signal. Took me 2 days to figure out how to do the reset xbox to factory settings by turning on the xbox and holding down the BIND and eject button. I restarted my xbox but kept the games and my xbox worked perfectly at my girls house but when I went to my house yesterday it went black screen again and no hdmi so I had to restart my xbox again.
