Huge news for the creative community
Adobe Photoshop was just released on the iPad
you can download it now.
This is huge for me because I love using my iPad Pro for designing, this is just another tool I can use. Super hyped

That's nice to hear. I don't have an iPad though. But there's currently a version of Photoshop out on Android. It's not available on the App Store, you can only download it as an APK. Although I am considering purchasing something with a larger screen. Such as a tablet, maybe even an iPad.

Yea there were “versions” of photoshop in the App Store before, but that was mainly for photo editing.
The new Adobe Photoshop added actually requires a license just like the one on the PC. But like all adobe apps you just sign in with your creative cloud account and if you have the subscription you can use adobe photoshop on the iPad. I’ve been using Procreate, but moving to adobe photoshop will be nice since I can work with all the layers between both platforms, and not lose functionality.
Highly recommend the iPad Pro if you plan on upgrading and getting a tablet.

In comparison to a PC, how does It perform?
So, The iPad Version lacks some features, however. I was so used to pen tooling things out on the PC, having Photoshop on the tablet makes that 100x easier. I just use the Apple Pencil to pen tool things.
Having the Side car feature on the iPad and Mac makes this super easy as well without losing any features.

You also have the portability (compact and very light) that most laptops cannot accommodate.
