Bike and children - Harumba - 10-02-2019

Since how many years can a child be transported by bicycle? My son is two years old, can I ride him on my bike?

It depends where you're located.

Check your local laws.

We can transport a child from three years old. For safe transportation you need special seats check info. We can transport children on a bicycle from the age of three according to the law.

The general rule (and law in some states) is that a child must be 9 months old to ride in a child bike seat or bike trailer.

As said, check your local laws.

Maybe a person’s question is not according to the law, but regarding physiology.

You obviously won't receive a reply.

My grandson is three years old and I ride him on my bike. But for this I have installed a special safety seat on my bike. Recently, I have been traveling more often by e-bike, I like this kind of transport more. For him, I also want to build a safe seat for transporting the baby.
