So as the thread stated, Why do you run, or manage a website? Do you do it for the revenue, to help others out, or simply to create a strong community for others? Post what makes you so willing to run your website.

I just really love web development. I love running forums and contributing to the internet with quality material. Plus there's always the financial side of things if you get good enough.

I think we all love running forums for a enjoyment, it is a lot of hard work if you do the theme on your own but other then that it's easy

I'm running DiscussionZONE because I wanted to run/own a forum. I want to be a successful forum owner and hopefully be big in the future.
I don't care about making money or anything, I just want a popular forum.
