Forum Changes

Just wanted to give a short update on a few things that happened behind the scenes.
  • MyBB suffered several vulnerabilities. The board is currently up to date and no damage was done.
  • The mailserver wasn't working due to an issue with the host. It's been fixed and emails should be going out again.
  • The Post Editor was changed, as a result of the forum update. We'll likely continue to use it as is. Suggestions are welcome.
  • Improvements and fixes have been applied to the Upgrade, Registration, and Forum Team pages. All of which should look and function better now.
  • A Cracking Tools subforum has been added for related discussion to go in. We ask that you report relevant threads, so we may relocate them.

It's also a great time to offer suggestions, as I've been implementing some of them.

Best of Luck!
If you have any questions or concerns, message me or post below.

Hi, Sir!
It's very sad to hear about things went wrong. I'm actually falling in love with SiNiSTERLY.
I wish you all the best luck making things back to normal. I've never come across any other place like this before in my entire life. This place is getting better and better by the day. I can actually call it Home. Home is where we feel Safe and Happy from the very core of our hearts.
I love you all and all the members who work hard to bring all the latest stuff everyday and this stuff isn't available anywhere else.
lots of respect and kindness for you all. May SiNiSTERLY see more and more years of success.

Glad to hear you like the forum. I wouldn't say anything "went wrong", just lots of upgrades and improvements.

That's certainly a huge relief for most of us who love this community.
I'll be looking to make some suggestions as soon as I get some free time on my hands.

RE: Forum Changes - Defeat - 06-27-2019

I just found out an old SE forum I was on years ago was actually breached and moved to a whole other forum type. Glad our database is fine.

I'm pretty sure I know what you're referring to, I'm also a member there. It's now powered by a different forum software.

On-topic, It's good to know we're unaffected.

Same as here.

I've never changed my username for over two decades.
