Is this just a tool to spam random keys into the program, or does this actually provide accurate keys every time? I've heard Malwarebytes is one of the best Anti Virus' out there, so I might end up using this. And thanks for the video, it should help people understand your code, which is always great.

I see then. Random key generators can still be effective though. But since this is open-source, I'll probably use this for a tool of my own.

But I certainly agree with your comment. My test system was Infected with a .exe hijacker, whereby every executable file did not function. Every antivirus & anti-malware failed to detect It, let alone remove the Infection. Malwarebytes got rid of It within a few minutes.

I think in one of their more recent updates they actually began classifying themselves as anti-malware and anti-virus. Or at the very least they advertise that their program does everything an anti virus does and more.

I've read similar reports. Although the name has been changed, It's still classed as an anti-malware software.
It's beyond the scope of this post to document an "Antivirus vs Anti-malware" report, so put simply, Malwarebytes focuses on a "broad" range of threats, viruses Inclusive. As such (broad), It does not Include many "specifics" and older threats. That where an AV comes Into action- It's designed to target what an anti-malware doesn't.
