I have malwarebytes, avg, and norton.

Had Avira, annoyed the living crap out of me with its adware, wanted Microsoft Security Essentials but I am a proud pirate, so switched to AVG. Overall, I'd say get Linux. :]

I use AVG, it's overprotective but it catches most of the bad stuff, which I like. I don't know of any better ones, definitely not Norton.

I am currently using Kaspersky Internet Security 2012. It still have over 6 months validity, I strongly recommend this one, as this is the best I have ever used.

I use Avast, nice and simple. I was on AVG for a while but it seemed to slow down my machine. Avast is fast, and every day you have a nice woman to tell you the database has been updated!

Never will download AVG™ ever again. But I use Avast™ and Malwarebytes™.
