I dunno though. I think maybe we should just let them rename it into something more realistic. I tried a website once which gave me a dollar for inviting people to register under my referral link. It could very well be still possible to encounter such a site again from what people share.

I see them ALL the time, but there's no real way to ban them, unless mods enforce it. It's not like they read the rules or anything there just here for the money.

That's actually a really good idea. After a user signs up said user has to post x amount of times to be able to add links or send PMs.

I'd be in favor of this, however it isn't realistic. The predicament is that sometimes these referral-based programs are legitimate.
