Anonymous SIM-Card? - Trilly Reign - 02-18-2019 I found this article the other day https://motherboard.vice.com/en_us/article/d3qqj7/sim-card-forces-data-through-tor-brass-horn-communications Anyone else heard of these ? Would be VERY impressive if they are truly anonymous. Wouldn't have to worry about your data service provider giving anything to the authorities, ever. Also could change your location without any additional software RE: Anonymous SIM-Card? - geyu29 - 02-21-2019 So wheres the tutorial or startup knowledge for this. RE: Anonymous SIM-Card? - zorrophreak - 02-21-2019 The way the SIM works is restricting any internet activity not routed through TOR. TOR routing has to be done manually on the user's phone the way I see it, I suppose by using Orbot on Android. If the user is on regular internet, the data just won't go through, but that's likely just done specially through the ISP not so much the SIM. I could be wrong though. Still a very cool idea and one that definitely encourages safer, more secure internet usage. RE: Anonymous SIM-Card? - prevent - 02-21-2019 Tor has showed its not fully secure, look at lizard squad https://www.eteknix.com/lizard-squad-attacks-tor/ and fbi... https://motherboard.vice.com/en_us/article/kb7kza/the-fbi-used-a-non-public-vulnerability-to-hack-suspects-on-tor Only thing I'd use tor for is good ole' lsd. RE: Anonymous SIM-Card? - hacxx - 02-21-2019 Does anyone want a release of free mailer? And if you were to use a VPN with that SIM, then you'd be good. However, I didn't think about the ISP. If they don't have any regulations against giving out info, then they're just as bad ![]() (02-21-2019, 09:05 AM)prevent Wrote: Tor has showed its not fully secure, Yes, it's not fully secure, but that's why you usually use a VPN with it RE: Anonymous SIM-Card? - mothered - 02-22-2019 Anything that establishes a connection and Is transmitting data, Is susceptible to leakage, disclosure and exploitation.
