Well, you need to know a high-level programming language like C, C++ or Java.  So basically you need to have an expert level in all 3 Languages that I mention.

Are you trying to say you have to know C, C++ and Java to be able to learn MatLab? Because if so that's entirely untrue. The only real requirement to MatLab programming as far as I can tell is a decent enough understanding of Calculus and how functions work.
