Fallout 76 B.E.T.A - Nyx - 10-31-2018

Anyone play this during the 4 hour window yesterday? I played it for about 3 hours once my download finally finished and I had a ton of fun. Definitely a game that encourages you to play with friends for the most fun, although when I was playing I did it entirely solo and had a great time.

From what I read it sounds like it'll be interesting, though less story-driven. A 4-hour window does seem like a short period to take part (even if they allowed pre-loading).

I was excited to try before i buy but then i realised the BETA is pre-order only, shame they aint doing a public one it would increase the feedback they receive for improvement for sure, it does look like its great with friend though you're right.

Didn't play the Beta, but @Jiggly and I played earlier today. Has been pretty fun, worried it might be lacking later on, though.

Exactly the reason I didn't end up buying the game after the Beta. I felt there wasn't enough content that would keep me engaged.

I've enjoyed it a bunch so far. I haven't explored everything yet and personally feel like there's a lot of game time in there. I wouldn't want to play without other people though. Some of the quests/monsters are brutal.

At $35, it's kind of a steal. @Jiggly and I have been squadding with a couple friends and even at higher levels there's definitely stuff to do. Not going to say it's the best game, but it's been fun. Has bugs, but not as many as Conan Exiles did.

For the most part the bugs aren't particularly game breaking. More client-side visual messups... Or dead Scorchbeasts falling from the sky.

I'm currently figuring out the camp building system.

I remember when I played the Beta having all of my quests on my screen constantly was the most irritating thing.
