Tokyo Ghoul : Re Season 2 - Apollo - 10-24-2018

Anyone actually enjoying this season? I feel like it's really rushed and it's just introducing characters and killing them off before I even get a chance to develop interest for them. It's also taking a lot of unexpected turns really quickly, without any suspense or buildup. I loved the first 2 seasons of Tokyo Ghoul, but when :RE dropped I feel like it's taken a turn for the worst. Give me your opinion!

So sad you had to go the anime route. The manga is a near masterpiece. Expect it to go downhill from here. I cant go into detail without going into spoilers, but if you have any respect for the story, continue reading in the manga.

Which novel would I start on if I'm up-to-date with the anime? I have backstory on all that's happened to far via YouTube videos (what wasn't covered in the anime between Season Two and the first season of :RE).

I will see what the current episode is, then ill give you directions. Its nice you went out of your way to learn more about the characters, that just makes the transition way easier.

Bone 61 of Tokyo Ghould :re is roughly around where the current episode starts, if you start here, you shoulld be able to follow the story nicely.

RE: Tokyo Ghoul : Re Season 2 - DragonicRek - 11-01-2018

I honestly liked Tokyo season 2 more than season 1. I preferred it since there were more fighting scenes, and we got to see Kaneki go ballistic

RE: Tokyo Ghoul : Re Season 2 - trelyuw34 - 11-03-2018

tokyu ghoul ..... 2 season of TG is not so good as dfirst one

RE: Tokyo Ghoul : Re Season 2 - Blue Berry - 11-22-2018

This season really is rushed... I read the manga a while ago and I was planning to just watch to see those sweet fight scenes animated, but even though I already know the plot it's too confusing...
Honestly I recommend you just read the whole :re manga. The anime skips over so many things that you'll rarely think "I've already seen this in the anime"

RE: Tokyo Ghoul : Re Season 2 - IronmanXLR - 11-23-2018

Honestly after reading the manga I haven't enjoyed alot of the anime. To me it's just one of those anime that failed to capture the magic of the manga and is just fancy and flashy but without the soul of the manga.
