If you want to be a programmer all the webs are perfect for starting, but if you want to start programming something i would recommend yo codeacademy, i used to use it when i was learning python and explains very well all the aspects.

Nice list.

There's a lot of online resources, In fact too many to mention. When learning a given language, It's best to reference more than one site at the same time- not all cover the exact same content.
