How to disable camera sound on iphone? - TheBoyD - 10-19-2018 Hi guys!
I recently got an iphone 6 ( first time have iphone). It really annoys me when I take a picture it makes that fucking sound. I tried putting on silence, turning sound volume down and do not disturb mod, and it still does make sound. I went through settings and couldnt find anything. I read somewhere that certain countries need to have those, but my country doesnt. ( i checked with friends who also have iphones). Does anyone know how to disable it? Thanks in advance ![]() RE: How to disable camera sound on iphone? - mothered - 10-19-2018 (10-19-2018, 02:28 PM)TheBoyD Wrote: I read somewhere that certain countries need to have those I believe In both Korea & Japan, the camera's shutter sound Is hard-coded, hence cannot be disabled via the device's default settings/features. Are you sure you're not In a region that applies such restrictions? RE: How to disable camera sound on iphone? - Yuji - 10-19-2018 Where did you purchase this phone? It might be from a country that does not allow this. You can try and reset your phone in iTunes. RE: How to disable camera sound on iphone? - K4X3L1 - 10-19-2018 here is only one way to disable this sound, you should make your phone in mute mode . ![]()

I was hoping to turn off that sound without jail break, if someone know something, please let me know. I don't want to be rude, but you don't give any information. It's not like we can help you with 0 information. We're not going to break into your house and rob you. I promise

I continued digging and found out that there is an app "microsoft pix" in which can be disabled sound. But regular iphone camera app have a better picture just by a notch. Where Is the "somewhere else" located, that Is, where does It originate from? The reason I'm asking, Is because If It was originally sold In a country/region where the sound Is hard-coded Into the device, Irrespective where you relocate, It will remain that way. If that's the case, we can troubleshoot for a month of Sundays to no avail. I cant get in contant with seller, but I figured app will be sufficient. Thanks for bothering anyways

Judging by your post, It seems as though you've exhausted all options and to my knowledge (aside from jailbreaking), there's no other alternative. Leave this with me. I'll try and figure something out but as said, If It's hard-coded, It will remain as such and your only choice Is to jailbreak the device. |
