When you do, you'll wonder how/why you did without an SSD for so long. There's a significant difference In boot & shutdown times, read/write operations, transfer speeds etc. I've recently spent over 11k on my systems and will never go back to SATA HDDs, nor anything less than the 7th Gen quad core CPU. I'm also loving the GTX 1070 and 32 GB of ram. The only thing left Is to migrate all my data (backups) to external SSDs (which I need to purchase). I've already purchased one SSD with a Thermaltake 2.5" enclosure which took only a few minutes to assemble. I'll do the same with the rest. Both have been around for as long as I can remember (and that's a long time), and neither have let me down In the past. Keeping my eye on the corsair one. RE: What Are Your Specs? - mothered - 08-26-2017 (08-26-2017, 06:27 AM)rainforest Wrote: Thanks. Keeping my eye on the corsair one. You're welcome, you won't be disappointed. I've been using Corsair ram sticks for many years, and they've served me very well. Their SSDs are doing much the same.
