I don't know what a stack is but I'm using Rails (MVC) for the backend and js for the frontend.
About the photo, not yet, it looks ugly.

A stack is the technologies used in all ends.
Example would be MEAN. MongoDB (for the database (NoSQL)), Expressjs (MVC architecture for the backend), Angularjs (for the frontend), and Nodejs (the runtime (server)).
MEAN is known for being pure JavaScript.
I know there is a PHP one named LAMP.

Maybe get rid of the white outline box around the top quote, and see how that looks. But i would probably go with the top quot, looks good!

PostgreSQL for the Database, Rails for the backend and JavaScript for the frontend, I've modified the default server of Rails to use Puma which can handle way more traffic without any issue.
