I still prefer to use Backtrack5 R3, somehow Kali dosent suit much to my needs!!!!
Kali is still unstable according to me, i do try out backbox sometimes, as that is a good flavour as well!!

I hated kali....at first, BUT I installed it anyways...fixed it up a thing or two...and it is pretty awesome! It is the kde version with a cairo-dock, nothing to fancy but it sure does beat the basic, boring layout it originally has. Had to fix up and install a few things for the sound, and touchpad to work, but that's ok. The hotkey for the terminal doesn't work for me, but it's already on the dock...oh well. Although, some of the applets don't work in the cairo-dock like navigating to the commands and opening some folders haha! but other than that, I am pretty content. If only I knew how to add the repositories like Linuxephus does, that would be pretty sweet! Haha! :epic:

I am using backtrack 5 r3 - it is good.. have lots of tools and tried kali linux as well . but like backtrack more

It might be less effort just installing a VM for trying other distros, though.

At present I am using Fedora 16 with Gnome Desktop. I have also installed KDE desktop which has great effects. Fedora is quite good and I like it more than ubuntu. After some months I will switch to a different diastro maybe Arch Linux or Linux Mint or Oracle Linux.
