On almost every board I was registered with, Minecraft was very much In demand around 7-8 years ago.
With the evolution of online gaming, I'm surprised It's still around.

Minecraft was an experiment for me to test the serving capacity of my setup. I wanted to pick a game that people here knew how to play in hopes that I could get a bunch of people online (and I did). I keep the server online at this point mostly because my little brother still plays all the time.

RIP, I still have servers up from when I tried to get members to help and play with before. I have 2 Modded servers up now, both packs on curse/twitch client. Dedicated 24/7 up for going on 4 years and frequently updated lol

I played back when it was in Alpha and ran a couple decently sized servers back in the day. That being said, I don't know very many people that play it, who aren't highschoolers. @Jiggly and I did revisit it a couple months ago, though.
