lightweight? if google chrome is lightweight, then what is considered heavy? lmao Confused Confused Confused

I was meant to say minimalistic, not lightweight. My bad.
I usually consider a cluttered browser like IE 'heavy' and junky.

Opera is minimalistic too, in my opinion.

I currently use Firefox and w3m.

RE: Preferred Browser - Cyb3rNuX - 01-09-2017

I use Chrome, yet it's using too much RAM. I tried to use Firefox but there aren't much extensions available as are in Chrome, so that's the main reason why i am using Chrome.

i use google chrome and vivaldi. everytime i have used firefox it would work for a bit then start freezing on some web pages. its been about a year and a half since i stopped using firefox. not sure if they have improved it yet or not.

I'm a very heavy user of FF and the freezing seems to be a commonality.

You haven't missed much. In my experience, It's still the same.

I always use Chrome, but i hate it more and more because it uses too much ram so i'm thinking to change to firefox, but i used chrome for years now and it's hard to stop it, firefox feels weird haha

If you do opt for FF, you may experience from time to time the good old "unresponsive script" message when, If left unattended, could bring the browser to a halt. I come across It many times and although It can be stopped manually, It's still annoying have to do so.

Although there are many options available to stop this, a simple browser extension named "YesScript" will fix the problem: https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/yesscript/
