No I quit up gaming... I think its useless and will end up nowhere.. what I do use still , however , is Unity 3d which has support for Mac as well as Linux..
I don't see any reasons for installing OS X on anything else than Apple devices. I do use OS X myself (I own a MacBook) and it's great for what I do. But if you want to do any serious security related work you will have to use Linux. But I can't force you to anything nor will I try, but i have given you my cent.

Thanks I was just a bit confused that them Applez may provide Mac users with some exclusive tools hueheuheu!

Pen-testing is a very big field, too big to be covered by one man. Therefore you will have to pick out some fields in which you want to specialize in, like web app pen-testing, networks, malware etc.
So for me to point you in the right direction, I'm going to need you to answer that question. "What field(s) do you want to work with?"

Okay, two fairly interesting fields you picked there. Okay let me see..
Networks: You will need to look into how computers actually connect to each other, which packets they send and what type of connection they make. what's the difference between the different packages and why are they not similar? Look into how servers work and how we connect to them. Networks, is much about connections and packages.
System security: This is a bid harder and will take a LOT of time to master. You will have to learn about how the systems work, in depth. How malware behave and most important how to create it. You will have to spent years on studying programming languages etc.
