There are a few good ones coming out, to be fair. I'll agree a lot aren't that original or great, though.

Yeah, at the end of the day it won't do to become too pig-headed over the great old days of anime. We have old people for that.

Just rewatched FLCL for the heck of it. Every time I watch it, I keep getting reminded why I got into anime in the first place.
