RE: How many push-ups can you do? - Guardian - 04-22-2013 Non-stop? Eh, I'm lazy, about 30. Sorry, but I call bullshit on this one. Yes, you should be careful. Not because of puberty, but because you are still growing. That's BS. Training with weights before finishing growing does NOT hinder growth.

You should not train with weights or anything like that. There's no hard evidence that says it isn't good for you. There's nothing I hate more than seeing a 15 year old kid refuse to squat with weight because he's afraid he'll stop growing. -_- RE: How many push-ups can you do? - Judas - 04-23-2013 (04-22-2013, 08:24 PM)Grily Wrote:He's like 13, doing 20 consecutive push-ups won't hurt him one bit.(04-22-2013, 08:23 PM)Greyn Wrote:(04-22-2013, 08:21 PM)Pal Wrote: As long as you do them correctly, push-ups aren't dangerous to do at a young age.TheY are not good for you. RE: How many push-ups can you do? - SeXy - 05-02-2013 I do a maximum of 45 without break... RE: How many push-ups can you do? - Brock Obama - 05-03-2013 I did 36 in 2 minutes yesterday, but I need to be able 40 in under two minutes in order to join the gym. However, 40 in 2 minutes is just a basic level for the army, and if I could do 60-80 that would certainly impress the army more so I am hoping to be able to reach that level within the next couple of months. |
