RE: What are your thought on drugs? - TVsAvery - 09-25-2020 Thank you man. It was pretty difficult to quit but I was scared from the OD so it wasn't that hard. RE: What are your thought on drugs? - AtomCell - 10-11-2020 I choose to only accept mind altering substances that are harmless to ones consciousness. I don't drink or take drugs that ya know, mess you up? I take on occassion when needed, something to help me relax or to disclose an issue I have, like with my ego or identity. Ie, mushrooms, a lil weed, maybe mda, all for therapeutic purposes. I believe one can do this for recreation as well and be just fine. Ayahuasca, for example, I would recommend under supervision and for a purpose to dive deeper into ones real being. Ive learned by doing, Ive tried a few drugs that are not healthy. If it meets the definition of toxic or addictive, then I really can't and won't recommend it. RE: What are your thought on drugs? - joinfree - 10-16-2020 Marijuana is becoming more legal as it is already available for recreational use in 10 states It was quite difficult to stop RE: What are your thought on drugs? - Mr.Kurd - 10-16-2020 Am I the only one who never used any until now? Unless you also include medicine; I have used Codine (Co-Damol) for headache. I do not understand the drug culture that we have here in america. If you never start drinking coffee you will not be reliant on it and will actually function better if you just stay on a good schedule / exercise. RE: What are your thought on drugs? - blackrosex0x0 - 10-16-2020 I'll just say, drugs aren't worth it if you don't have a need for them I.E. medicine. I have battled with addiction and abused basically every drug under the sun. It took me years after getting initially sober to pull my life together, none of it was worth it in the end. I have a 3 year period of my life that I can only remember bits and pieces due to using way too many benzo's in combination with alcohol and weed, among other things... As for the argument with weed, no it's not entirely harmless, that is just not true in the slightest. I don't smoke anymore and while I'm all for legalization of it, to believe it as harmless is bullshit. I've heard countless stoners say how it improves their lives in every aspect and that its not addicting, yet they claim they can't eat without it, they can't sleep without it, etc... umm that's called being addicted. It might not be be physically addicting like opiates, benzo's or alcohol for example, but nonetheless, still an addiction. Psychological addiction is a real thing and some are more prone to addictive behaviors than others. Take being addicted to video games for example, you're not going to die of withdrawal if you stop playing games but it is still addicting if you have that kind of personality. All in all, moderation in everything is key. If you have an addictive personality and you're aware of it, please be careful around drugs, especially the well known addictive ones like cocaine, meth, heroin, benzos, and even alcohol, etc... you get my point. Edit: If you're going to screw around with drugs anyways, at least check out https://bluelight.org its a great forum dedicated to harm reduction in relationship to drug use. RE: What are your thought on drugs? - AtomCell - 10-16-2020 The idea around addiction is what you want to discuss. Drug. .. is anything ... can be the cocktail of thousands of drugs produced by your brain... so if you think you dont do drugs, you are clearly mistaken. Your view of relaity is a drug festival happening right now, 24/7 in your brain. All other substances external or internal all have the same intention and purpose. People act like the drug is what is toxic. when we know its not. ITs the mental addiction, the thought process that is the addicting source. No substance is addictive on its own. None. The addiction occurs in the mind. Not in the drug itself. We were taught that drugs wre bad so that brown and blacks could be incirminated easily... and we still share the same level of ignorance about it. which is sad. Go take some college classes with drugs and biopsych, neurology has found new information that we didnt get or undertstand 20 years ago. Most of our definitions are way past date, and not even true... yet we keep them cause they sell sell sell you know why america is a drug house? cause $ ... thats why. People in our govenrment are addicted to drug profits. You blame the local drugie like a hopeless piece of shit, yet you see the business suit wearing senator that shipped those drus with a cia c130 and think, now that mans got it all together. and that is fuckin sad imo. |
