It's certainly a lot safer that way. RE: Preferred way to travel - Boudica - 02-01-2022 (01-30-2022, 05:26 PM)kakekgagap Wrote:(01-30-2022, 11:47 AM)Boudica Wrote:Yep, I like doing it. That makes sense. I wonder if the drivers enjoy the company too, as they're often on boring, long work journeys, you know? Many drivers at my work who travel Interstate, continue to ask me to be a passenger In their semi-trailer. It's a 20 hour journey (one way) so obviously, I kindly refuse. I really don't envy the long journeys. Although, I think I'd take a driving journey over the high stress I get in my current job. Of course, there are many truck stops (eating at diners and a couple of drinks at the pub etc), but It's still quite a long trip. I've done many 8 hour trips, and It significantly reduced my tension. RE: Preferred way to travel - nftceo - 02-03-2022 getting a chauffeur or put someone like a friend or someone to drive for you, there's that or by plane. or if it's like inside a city, definitely uber. RE: Preferred way to travel - paulisw - 02-07-2022 Best way to travel for me would be to fly by plane - it's quick, easy and these days quite affordable. If I have to commute in town to outside I am pretty much always choosing train or car. RE: Preferred way to travel - OliverAmyy - 03-04-2022 Now it is much safer to [link redacted] for short distances with connections because the plane is not the most relevant mode of transport. I often travel by bus using the best deals in the less popular season. It saves me money on tickets and allows me to see the beauty of our world in places I've never been. Do you agree that it is necessary? Nothing beats kicking back, while someone else behind the wheel takes you to your destination. |
