RE: Homosexuality [DEBATE] - Leviathan - 08-04-2019 To be honest, I totaly agree that the "rainbow capitalism" is kinda making everything hard for gay people. I, myself am bi thus it kinda affects me as well but to be honest... I feel like let people live their life, who the fuck should care about what/who they love. I feel the same way. Love to me, is to be at one with that which you love. its a feeling of oneness, intimacy, and belonging. no one should be afraid if I love a pigeon, a tree, a man or a woman, we all love something, someone, etc... so its complete bullshit when people act like there is something to fear from it. Capitalizing on anything has negative consequences as well, I cant say I admire capitalizm. Its rather destructive and is based on scarcity rather than abundance. Its a toxic relationship with all the other functions of that system. Feeding off any other system is not healthy... its draining. this is why the people are poor and the rich are very few. What's been happening recently with permits being denied for parades is due to white supremacists and hate groups co-opting straight pride as a dog whistle, and cities not wanting to be associated with such groups. Even still, there's a sanctioned, legal "straight pride" parade happening in Boston later this month organized by people with known ties to hate groups, and lead by Milo Yiannopoulos, a gay man (which seems strange for a straight event) who has a history of railing against minorities (which seems stranger still for a supposedly peaceful event). Second, I fail to see how using law enforcement as a tool for silencing minorities and systemic oppression is a good (or even remotely valid) argument against LGBTQ people's rights, as it violates those rights by principle. Finally, the fact that people such as yourself still use the term fag unironically outside the context of edgy 4chan memes shows that there's still lots of work to do on the equality front, and makes me think you're arguing in bad faith here, and aren't actually looking to debate. RE: Homosexuality [DEBATE] - Magnetron - 08-07-2019 Quote:Oh boy, lots to unpack here. First, straight pride is not illegal. What's been happening recently with permits being denied for parades is due to white supremacists and hate groups co-opting straight pride as a dog whistle Yes, there's always a pretext isn't there? Everything opposed to the status quo is hate speech. Homosexual pride, non-white pride and female pride are to be celebrated but straight pride, male pride and white pride are all to be derided as hate speech and banned. The fact that they're branding Milo Yiannoupolos (gay Jew who can't shut up about sucking black cocks) a racist, homophobic Nazi showcases just how out of control this SJW bullshit has become. They'll throw anyone, including gays and minorities under the bus just to preserve this retarded narrative. My own city hall in the town I live in told me directly that a straight pride parade would not be permitted because it is "hate speech". In other words, my sexuality is criminal. How else is anyone supposed to interpret this? Quote:Second, I fail to see how using law enforcement as a tool for silencing minorities and systemic oppression is a good (or even remotely valid) argument against LGBTQ people's rights, as it violates those rights by principle. The point was that the system and the plutocratic thugs who run it have engineered gay acceptance, it had nothing to do with activism or anyone's rights. The cops could've cracked down on all those fag protests but they didn't because their masters told them not to. The system wanted it to happen. Nowadays where the tactic of Color Revolutions have been thrust into the spotlight, it's no longer a secret that the government engineered and sanctioned many protests. Go find out what really happens at an actual unauthorized protest. The cops storm the crowd with shields and batons and beat the shit out of everyone, vans get loaded up with handcuffed protesters and a complete media blackout follows as if it never happened. That's what a real protest looks like and why you never hear about one. Quote:Finally, the fact that people such as yourself still use the term fag unironically outside the context of edgy 4chan memes shows that there's still lots of work to do on the equality front There's no such thing as equality as I just explained. You can't grant one group rights without taking them away from another. Today's world is one where racism against whites is tolerated, male rape victims of female perpetrators not recognized and where the sexuality of straight people is routinely demonized and policed to the point that there's now millions of incels. You give a freak an inch and he will walk all over you. They all first claim to want equality, then they ask for privileges and then they pursue supremacy. Never in history has it ever worked out any other way. As for "there's still lots of work to do on the equality front", gay acceptance has reached its record high in 2018 at 53% which has since dropped to 46%. The pendulum is swinging back the other way. They are finished. People are getting sick of this freakshow. Quote:and makes me think you're arguing in bad faith here, and aren't actually looking to debate. If I was in bad faith, I'd be a politely condescending, virtue-signalling, politically-correct spineless cocksucker that sugarcoats all his shit like every SJW. Instead I'm being straight and candid with you. So I think that speaks for itself. With this right here you are (ironically) demanding control over somebody else's imperatives. Quote:someone once told me, if you want to understand others, dive deep inside yourself. if you want to understand yourself, dive deep insider others. Funny thing, when I did exactly that the last few years (I'm almost 30), I abandoned my unproductive fantasies about equality and instead accepted the harsh reality. Learning how powerful perception is and how the majority perceive is a very important skill, I agree. But I guarantee you that you will not like what you find. What always happened was a supposedly-oppressed demographic pursuing supremacy and subjugating another as soon as they got the chance. Personally, I doubt this is true. But its pointless to argue being no one was there and alive 3k years ago, vs 5k years, 10k years. and this is beside the point. what my point is, is we can choose to treat others equal should we be aware to see our own true nature. Those who are aware ARE capable of this and I see it in practice everyday. Not everyone in the world is like you think. I have met so many different walks of life so I feel I can reach out of my comfortzone a little here. but more or less, I think you make a valid point, and are right... most people, oppose the opposite as soon as they get the chance. yes. but that would indicate those individuals ARE NOT the ones I am trying to point out here. I am only indicating it is a matter of consciousness, awareness, maturity and integrity. One who understands he knows jack shit, has no control, and is able to accept the unwilling, is pretty much a free man walking. I am not demanding in any way. I am only suggesting if people could NOT impose... then we would have the resolution we desire. So I agree with your statement as far as thats how people act, but I am not telling you to believe ANYTHING in particular. just that if all were to understand there is a negative, neutral, and positive position we can take, being the netrual one where it is not impossing on others. THAT is the way I live my life to this day. IDK who the hell wants to run around telling anyone else this is right or wrong, or do it this way, or what not... cause dont they have their OWN life to worry about. theres like 8 billion lives on this planet. to think about ones ego is so large they worry about everyone else? You are proving my point sir. The control - is a realization of illusion inthe first place. One who is aware already understands people are their own identity, thinking processes, their own soul. They are here ot realize just as we all are, the nature of our being. MY biopysch professor was the one who had this lil saying in class and I really took to it at the time, because Im so sensative I can abosrb others energy so easily if I am not aware. Liking and disliking is all derived from the ego, so one who says like i this, oh this is good, or this is bad, is purely speaking from the thinking mind. They are asleep. I accepted the fact long ago, that I dont have to like or dislike and can rather seek t understand the events without the attachment to my desired outcome. Control is a factor cause WE want things to go our way. The problem with society is everyone - mostly , those who are not aware, wants control. It takes a certain period of time of practices that help to remove ones self from the equation to realize their true nature in the universe. There is no way for me to tell you, to do this, think this way, to get it. Instead, I say things that could help you arrive to that realization without my attachment to said outcome. it takes two to make it work. If there person Im guiding to the light, says - well it should be this way, what should I do? say no - its this way... or say, you do what you think is right for you, and with the practice, your own soul will guide you. Guidance is just that. its not a blueprint or a set of instructions. what some people perceive as a gift can be to others a terrible thing. and remeber both people on either side of this have that same chance of landing on said perspective. it takes two... one to be willing to let go, or empty their cup, before filling it, and the other to ensure his attachments are not being cast onto the one receiving hte guidance. Id rather people be left alone to learn on their own, in their own time. when you meet someone who SEEKs the information or methods, THEY are the ones you want to help. The ones who show signs of immaturity, simply not even understanding the basics of interpersonal relationships, etc... you kinda just let them be till they ARE ready, asking for it. No where in my understanding do I tell others what is. I will say, there are three paths in life you can choose to take. but the choice is always theres, no matter what I do, what I think or feel, or perceive about it. Noone can steal your energy, just like noone can make you do something you dont want to do. Even with a gun pointed to your head, people choose for themselves. Control is regardless, NEVER has anyone EVER had control of anything in their life. we were bron without asking, we will die without asking. If you want a more foundational approach I could simply ask if you have ever read Eckhart Tolle's The Power of Now. Have you ever meditated for hours on end, left your mind nad body behind to be one with Brahman...? Life is so much more than we see, and understand here. and only till we are ready will we receive the next role of responsabilities. Obviously I don't understand the end goal here, or the method, but I have an idea: we are all here to simply become aware as to the nature of our soul. the essenece buried deep within each of us is trying to express itself. the thinking mind, ego, is what 99% of the time gets in the way. So to solve problems with hte same thinking that created them, yea it seems crazy... like how could this ever happen? im confident humans are not just on Earth, and that also in the past, we have achieved rather high states of consciousness, awareness, humbleness... understanding - rather than knowing. which leads to being rather than doing... Sorry if I ramble I did just wake up and totally enjoy these types of conversations there are many tools we can use to help us realize this, but MOST people do not want this, ego is in control - thus I usualyl walk away. You cannot argue with ignorance, and you cannot explain things so profound to nature and your being to others, they have to eperience it for themselves to understand, and for that to happen, they have to seek it, and much more. edit: Maybe I see this so clearly now as I grew up in a terribly abusive and racist environment. I catch myself all the time - the automatic programming from my past>? When aware all of this hatred and ignorance of the nature of self is resolved should one be will willing to accept it. Mostly, problmes stem from two things. love or fear. the opposing forces in the universe. which both stem from our hearts, leading to the mind, and to an action, either it be a reaction or response. In no way am I stating I am some enlightented being. No. Im saying Im dead asleep, waking up, and able to identify the source of issue. remember, emotions rise before we are aware of them especially in life or death situations or situatins that cause the same effect. arguing religion with a deep believer will cause hte mind to create the same hormones as if they are being physically attacked... so if you ever wonder why people act threatened when they are "wrong" this is why. both parties in said example would be triggering both parties and that would go no where healthy fast. Emotion means literally, to distrub. the mind distrubs the body. emotion means to feel what Im thinking. Most people today are not aware of their own thinking, which in day one basic training we learn, the brain makes an excellent slave, but a terrible master. love or fear. people dont choose, it jsut happens. when we are aware of our own nature, we can identify and choose better. sounds like you have been thru this and like me, can let things go that do not serve us, and accpet others to have differences and beliefs that may not even serve our benefit. accept or resist. the joy or suffering in teh world stems from these two. love or fear. its not what I think or say is right, its just my way of undersatnding the mechanics. Ive read thousands of books on the matter, religions, philosophy, neurology, etc... but not all of the ideas I have read do I choose to believe! IT would be rather dangerous to belive anything we read or see or experience first hand. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=oPEdDcs_8ZQ RE: Homosexuality [DEBATE] - Magnetron - 08-19-2019 Forgive my absence, real life got in the way. Documented human history goes back about 7000 years. All major hegemons of the day collapsed as soon as they started practicing feminism and gay rights. Babylon, Rome, Greece, etc. To be clear, things are a lot more complicated than this and they are symptoms of a societal breakdown rather than the cause of the breakdown. I had to add that disclaimer in case someone tries to use that strawman. My bad for misinterpreting what you said about how people should think. It sounded similar to the packaged argument of "if only everybody wasn't bigoted, we will have utopia" which in practice is liberals creating authoritarian measures to micro-manage the tiniest details of everyone's lives in pursuit of this utopia which just ended up creating more bigotry, more hatred and a bigger mess. However, the attitude you describe is harbored by few. You are a tiny minority. What you do or don't do doesn't make a difference. It's not possible to be neutral in this kind of environment because others WILL impose their will upon you one way or another and the only way to protect yourself is to have an army. The only way to have an army is to pick a side, even if you hate both sides. I fucking hate both sides. SJWs to my left and fascists to my right. So whether we like it or not, we have to side with the evil we know over the evil we don't. My personal calculation is that the alt-right represents my interests slightly more than the SJW scum. Some completely anti-SJW people still side with the left because they find the alt-right way too abhorrent to be part of. Quote:THAT is the way I live my life to this day. You are proving my point sir. The control - is a realization of illusion inthe first place. One who is aware already understands people are their own identity, thinking processes, their own soul. They are here ot realize just as we all are, the nature of our being. That's not exactly how it works. To have a functional society, there has to be shared values, some kind of universal culture that unites everyone whether it be religion, custom, nationalism, whatever. That's why the tribe imposes its will on any member at risk of becoming alienated from the tribe. You can't survive as an individual, you are inherently dependent on the tribe. So everyone keeps everyone in line and pressures the black sheep to re-connect to the tribe. It's not a conscious act of everyone policing everyone's behavior to the finest detail by reading from some script, it's a natural behavior. We seek like-minded people and discourage those like-minded people on the fence from hopping the fence. It's simple human nature. About the soul and ego, there are things like acid and shrooms that can kill the ego but I have never derived a positive experience from that. Most people seek certainty and security while more intelligent people seek doubt and uncertainty. Quote:arguing religion with a deep believer will cause hte mind to create the same hormones as if they are being physically attacked... so if you ever wonder why people act threatened when they are "wrong" this is why. both parties in said example would be triggering both parties and that would go no where healthy fast. Smile Yes, because you are attacking the very fabric of their existence. However, everybody including atheists aspire to a greater purpose and if someone tried to undermine whatever keeps you getting up in the morning every day for, you would feel as threatened as the True Believer. When society largely abandoned religion, did people become more intelligent? No, the worship of God was replaced by the worship of the vagina. Replace Christianity with secular liberalism, replace God with the cunt, replace the devil with Christianity, demons with pedo priests and replace the apocalypse with global warming. Things never change. Quote:Emotion means literally, to distrub. the mind distrubs the body. emotion means to feel what Im thinking. I think you're less aware of your nature than you might think. As discussed before, most people are extrovert-sensates who will jump on whatever bandwagon the tribe does. Most people who believe in global warming don't do so because they did research but because the ideology of equality is most liberating for them and when they notice their tribe (liberals) does, they decide to also do so. Same thing with LGBT rights. As introverts, appeasing to the tribe is less of an imperitive to us since we don't really have one. We have nothing to lose as we've already been outcasted. That gives you and me increased opportunities to question things and to introspect. On the other hand, I believe it gives us the illusion of self-awareness rather than any tangible advantage over the common sheep. We are still social animals. An introverted human being still has a pack mentality. When push comes to shove, we are just as irrational, instinctual and emotional as everyone else. RE: Homosexuality [DEBATE] - Tibo inc - 08-19-2019 This is the single most closed mind stance I have ever seen anywhere in the internet. I am not gay, I don't fully understand the mechanics of being gay, but I am not prejudice against gays at all. I personally believe this view is that way it should be for everyone. You may not be fully understanding of it, but you should by no means discriminate or spread the idea something is wrong with being gay. Your post contradicts itself, you state that being gay is a product of genetics, or as you call it an "error". Then you go on to state that you can be "turned" gay by your parents. Being gay is genetic, there is nothing you can do, it isn't a choice. People like the OP shouldn't be allowed on the internet to spread their negative views and opinions to others.
