You should definitely give Old School RuneScape a go - at least for the nostalgia feel. There are many helpful videos on YouTube if you ever get stuck (tips, guides, etc).

Yeah there's still a few strange things I don't recognize as well, it's a minority though.

That hasn't really stopped me from trying out older consoles yet...
I really appreciate the technology before our time. From the current frame of reference, they were terrible. But for the time, they were definitely revolutionary.
