Labrador Retriever is my ideal choice. They are so loving. Labs are so easy to train and gel with the us like a family member. We have to be very careful with our footwear and furniture during their younger days as they tend to chew at these while teething.

I've had terriers my whole life, but I'd definitely get a Shiba if I had to choose another (and not for the memes).

They're a beautiful breed.

My neighbor owned a couple many years ago, and they were absolutely adorable. Depending on the line of breed, they can be quite expensive.
