With the amount of carbon in the universe, it's impossible for us to be here alone. The reason we see aliens as being very sophisticated (the reason a lot of people think they're not real - they think we're SO advanced) is this:
Look at a chimpanzee. They're basic primates. We see them as stupid animals, but we share 99% of the same DNA. So 1% of our DNA makes us "so much better." Imagine a race of extraterrestrial beings that are say, 5% or even 10% different. They'd see our biggest inventions like we see a chimpanzee smearing shit on a wall.

That is going to be added to the string theory. We are in the third dimesion, which is REALLY small. Other dimensions, which are until 11 are higher and can affect us, same goes to the whole galaxy. We are in a third dimension, there are two lower than us which WE affect, if we feel it or not. And 8 more dimensions that affect US we feel it in the future, or something what happens to us right now. Just google the string theory.

Yes I do believe on aliens. The universe is very big for humans. Their are maybe thousands of earth like planets that can support life but is not discovered yet, because our technology has a limit. : x
