Did you learn anything new worth mentioning? Absolutely, anonymity isn't exactly my thing considering I can still easily pass for a newbie, but this article taught me a lot about the dangers of "leaking" information. Even something as simple as putting your birthday or last four of your social in to a site for "age verification" (I might add that in a previously read article, I learned that the algorithm for your SSN uses your birthdate, & location to issue a number, so with that information & your last 4, someone experienced can bruteforce your SSN). I'd actually really love if you'd consider writing for a blog I'm starting up, even if its just casually. I'll PM you some details.
RE: Maxx's Anti-Dox Handbook - MoE Tain - 07-02-2014 That's Complete for Doxing .... Keep it up bro ... Great RE: Maxx's Anti-Dox Handbook - SecFr3ak - 07-03-2014 Hey Maxx, How is it going mate? I see you are in mods now. Congrats. I found some free time and I decided to become more active here so I checked out your very well written tutorial and I noticed something that you might be interested in adding to it. In the Section where you talk about TrueCrypt, I believe it would be a good idea to include the SED SSDs. Those are SSD drives that include an extra CPU on them and encrypt/decrypt the data in real-time and they don't decrease the performance of the disk in use. The encryption/decryption is hardware based so its more difficult to decrypt as they use a dedicated hardware solution for encryption/decryption as compared to TrueCrypt ( which is real nice ) but its using software encryption and has some serious impact to systems performance compared to the hardware solution ( SED SSDs ). Give it a look. It might interest you! Take care buddy! Best Regards, SecFr3ak RE: Maxx's Anti-Dox Handbook - The Real Slim Shady - 07-06-2014 Ive stuck this thread as well. |
