Just found out that I need a really good connection to the wifi I was trying to test this on, couldn't crack it really
Do I need some kind of specific wireless dongle for this as well? Was wondering because from other tutorials I have read, they always recommended or suggested some kind of specific dongles.

You do in a fashion you will need a wifi card that is capable of packet injection look on aircrack-ng's website for a list of known cards or use
