Ot: Windows Vista. Superior speed and usability. Never crashed. /sarcasm
I've never actually used Vista. I liked XP for the ability it had to customise practically everything. Same with 7. Didn't get to use 8 long enough to do the same. I prefer windows because practically anything I could want to run works on windows machines, and for what doesn't, you can just boot up virtualbox with whatever os you need in like, ten seconds.

Well overall I'd have to say Arch Linux. I do use Windows 8.1 on my desktop for games and Windows only applications.
