i can do consecutively 40-60 push ups.

Well if it took you 75 seconds to do 30, I doubt you could do 40-60. :p

time has nothing to do with how many push ups you can do. If you do push ups too fast its easier, if you do them slower its harder to do..
If you do fast then you are just "bouncing" up and down.

Greyn has a point here. If you do push ups more slowly it's harder.

Pushups are all triceps and chest. No biceps involved.
