I use windows as a daily driver. I personally think linux is for servers. But that's just me.

Depends if you use your rig for gaming, really. I used Debian on my main machine for 2-3 years. If you don't play games, it's great for productivity.

Not hard to get Photoshop to work in Wine. Gimp is also an option. Many games are easily supported too. I play a lot of games, so eventually I caved.
