That is one way to put it, this guy is gonna get screwed up one way or another

Actually, a multitude of studies have shown that sleep deprivation very rarely causes any long-term, or short-term issues. The only recorded instances of people "changing" after a very long session of no sleep was when they abused stimulants such as amphetamines; psychosis, depression and so forth.

Sleep deprivation is dangerous if you have long-term insomnia, but if you are just doing it on purpose once in a while, it's extremely unlikely that you suffer any grave consequences.

Oh, well I meant like doing something like passing out at the wheel or something like that.

I absolutely agree. Though, I have enough common sense to not operate any heavy machinery, or go out and 'bout driving when this tired. Right now, I feel pretty good actually, which is odd since about 30 minutes ago I felt like dying. Might be the absurd amounts of caffeine I'm taking though...

Are you like drinking coffee or something?

I put pure caffeine in water and drink it. I think I'm around 300 milligrams at the moment.

What he said does have a tad bit of truth to it. Most of us refuse to question authority, and simply follow the structural, and authoritative environments that we are presented with. Most of us have that voice in the back of the head, if we allow ourselves to access it in our darker moments telling us this is all bullshit - but rarely do we ever take action.

I agree though. Most of the people spewing that our generation is a bunch of zombies slaving away to our corporate masters generally don't ever take action themselves, but that doesn't mean that they are completely wrong.

That's just my opinion, though.

I consider myself a cynic. I know alot of what we are told is bullshit. I don't always act on it, but given the chance, I do my best to live my life the way I think I should. It's more the fact that so many people have been told bullshit for so long they begin to believe it.

Are you still awake?

Unfortunately. I'm in a slum right now. No major hallucinations, yet. I just keep seeing things move in my peripheral vision at times.

Are you keeping hydrated at all?

Oh yes. I have been drinking nearly three liters a water a day. I don't feel hungry at all, anymore.
